P'P'Pinwheels appropriates public infrastructure in downtown Winnipeg in response to the specific environmental conditions of the city. The installation used pre-existing metal brackets intended for the display of temporary signage to support dozens of plastic pinwheels.The installation concentrated around Portage Avenue and Main Street, said to be the county’s windiest intersection.
